Throttle body

Hi i have a golf 1.6 s that has started idling a bit rough. I have changed the plugs but still the same. Can anyone advise as to whwere the throttle body is on this car is it the shiny unit underneath the air filter housing/top cover.And if so what is the best way to clean this.

hi mate wot reg is it??? and wot engine code is it,they are all different and the engines vary through out the year,the engine code will be in the front of the owners manual if you have it:biglaugh:
