:confused: JUST SERVICED A3 07 REG 1.9TDI
SPANNER DELETES WHEN RESET WITH VAG-COM BUT WHEN I TURN CAR ON AND OFF AGAIN THE SPANNER COMES BACK ON. IF I RESET SERVICE INDICATOR AGAIN LIGHT THEN GOES OFF UNTIL I TURN OFF AND RESTART.
ONLY CHANNEL IT WONT GO INTO WHEN MANUALLY RESETTING WITH VAG-COM IS CHANNEL 46.
HELP PLEASE.

Try this On vehicles from model year 2008 onwards it is no longer possible to reset the service interval display without using VAS 5051/5052.
t If the service interval display is reset manually via the dash panel insert it will automatically be set to a fixed interval.

– Switch on ignition.
– When button 1 is pulled out the message “SERVICE” will be displayed.
– Within the next 5 seconds pull the button out again until the message “SERVICE IN .... KM... DAYS” appears.
– The service interval display has been reset.
