Hi All
I own a 2005 B6 A4, I have owned the car since new and have covered 105K km without a single problem until recently. The coolant low warning light has been coming on weekly, the tank then gets topped up and a week down the line the light comes on again. I have experienced this problem after the following occured : while driving I noticed that the car started vibrating and it seemed as if the engine was about to sieze up, the turbo wine got louder and then subsided. After turning the engine off and then on again the problem was gone. The car is driving normally now. The other problem that I picked up : the external temperature display read -8 degrees celcius and this dis-enabled the airconditioner, the actual exernal temperature was +25 degrees celcius. Again after turning the engine off and then on again the problem was gone.
When I take the car to the dealer, they generally can not pick up any problems. The car is booked in next week for its 105K km service and to check the coolant loss.
I do not know if these problems are related or will manifest into serious issues at a later stage, please shed some light on the above !!!
Regards
