Hi there I'm thinking of buying a set of windows in the black for my car but the rear window is bonded and I've never done one of those.

Anyone on here done them?

How do I get the old one out without breaking it?

Then what do I clean the old rubber/whatever that holds it in with off?

And what and where do I buy the sealant to fit the new window in with?

Thanks.

Never done it myself...

How much would it cost to get a decent tinting company to do it rather than replacing?

Had a few quotes between £560 and £285 but we have a dog we take in the car and if the claws catch the film it ruins it so the real glass is the way I'm thinking best, the side windows are asy for me just like a mecano set but the glue or what ever on the rear window that's bothering me and I just love to do what I can myself 1 to save money and 2 just for the enjoyment of it.

As a last resort you could still have it tinted (unless you're a perfectionist!) and, I'm assuming your car's an estate, use a dog crate! (not you, your dog!). I do in my "other" car because my dog scratched the interior panels.
