I posted a few days ago, but something strange happening to my posts, I have now changed my password as I have a feeling someone has got old of it and is playing silly buggers.
Anyway, my 2004 A4 TDI Avant SE, 122,000 miles on clock, had wheel bearings done last week, this week I have lost power a number of times. A friend put a new fuel filter on, said the old one had lots of particles floating around and her scaned 'Turbo over boost', told it has been reset and trashed it to ikea lastnight and ran well. However I have a slight whisltle/groan when putting my food down, is there something wrong with my turbo? It not like a slipping belt noise, my dads car makes that and his is much louder, it's very slight and the sound is inline with the engine noise which you can hear on top off this slight noise.
Can anyone advice me on this as I still feel my car is lacking a bit of power and I do know her well done all her miles with me.
