Towing rear springs

I have an A6 Avant 1.9 TDI 130 (2002), I bought it with a factory fitted tow bar but dosent seem to have stiffer rear springs. Has anyone had any experiance with spring assisters or new stiffer rear springs, any advice on which is best or if any other products are available would be apreciated. (Im towing a caravan of about 1000Kg weight).

I wasn't aware that a factory fitted towbar included stiffer rear springs as part of the package. Irrespective of the weight of what you're towing the noseweight should only be between 70-90kgs anyway. If you do want to fit stiffer springs any tuning specialist should be able to help you out.
