Which oil?

Hi guys,

Please could you advise me which engine oil I should be using on my car? Not sure about which is best fixed or variable servicing as well?

A3 2003 (53) 1.9tdi Quattro Sport.

Also where is the best place to buy it?

I go for the long life oil. I'm afraid I don't know much more than that as I take it to a local garage for servicing.

507.00 although pricey is the best you can get for a diesel.

I think my last lot was Castrol, although VW do it in a Shell brand. Opie Oils who is a company on here might be able to also help you out.
