Hi all new to this site so pleae bear with me. I own MK V 105BHP Golf, 29,000 miles predominatly motorway driven.Car drives fine only issue i have is when pulling away first start of the day i'e engine is cold i get 2/3 occurances of juddering thru the clutch, this apopears to continue until the engine is warm when the problem disappears. i normally pull away with 1500 RPM max .I get no juddering when changing gear or accelerating in any RPM range..... before i go to my local dealer is this a sign of DMF failure.

To reiterate only happens when cold.

Sounds like a 'simple' dead clutch - although 29k is a lot less than the clutch is capable of. Get it looked at aspa before the slipping clutch damages the flywheel and then costing you another couple of 100 quid ;)
