Audi part numbers - do they need to match exactly?

I am trying to track down a servo unit for my 2002 Audi A4 Avant 1.9 TDi 130. The part number is 8E0 612 107 E.

I have managed to find a used servo unit from a 2001 Audi A4 TDi but the part number is slightly different (8E0 612 105 J). Does anyone know if it will still work or does it need to match exactly?
