I had the car jacked up today while doing some work and was looking out for any suspension components that might be responsible for the knocking noise over uneven/rough surfaces. The drop link on the driver's side of the anti rollbar can be pivoted/moved when gripped with the hand, the other side was solid with no movement whatsoever. Is this how it is supposed to be or are they both meant to be solid?

Much appreciated, thanks for doing that, I thought it didn't seem right to have that much play.

Are they both the same design, there are two different (interchangeable) types.

As far as I'm aware, they are the same. I wired brushed them (carefully) to have a good look at them and they look to be identical. The knocking comes from the driver's side too, so I'd assume this part is at fault, although I suppose to look at its hard to tell?

You may find that you need new bolts with the new one.

I plan to buy a pair and they come complete with bolts for around £15 - £20, no point doing one really. As pictured.
