Front ISOFIX points

Were front ISOFIX points ever available as an option on Passats?

I'm beginning to wish that I had front isofix points for my car as my son would love to be bale to sit up front with me (I'm not keen on belting the seat into the front....)

Never seen them. Did see them on the A6 that I couldn't afford!!

I know my son would love to join me in the front, but the wife would object to being in the back!!

James, I looked into this some time ago, (I wanted my 18 month old daughter in the front seat, and the wife in the back - less backchat, better appreciation of shiny things) and from memory it was only available on Touaregs and Phaetons. I don't recollect it being an option on the Passat.

I seriously rate ISOFIX for what it's worth.

Agreed on the silence front :)

Shame about the front isofix really - not that it helps me as I've already got the car though :D
