Read a lot on here about unblocking the holes under the battery but they all seem to relate to the passenger side of the car.
My problem is the drivers footwell keeps getting wet. Not swimming but very wet. Now i'm not sure yet if its only when I drive the car on wet roads or if its also happens whilst parked up when its raining? (I think is only when I drive).
I've lifted the carpet up but its just a little damp underneath fom all the water above.
All the seals look fine and I can't find any sign of it wetness around the outside of the footwell as the carpet up the sides are dry.
Had the same on my BMW but that was a split door seal and was easy to find.
Any ideas guys?

There are a few grommets and seals over that side of the plenum chamber, the one that springs to mind is the seal for the brake servo, have you checked up around the pedals ?

Yes I have and its dry. I was thinking it could be the seal around the metal panel behind the drivers door card. Colud be an easy'ish fix with a little bit of sealant around the bottom half?

cheers guys. I think I may have found the problem.
When I removed the door card I found water weeping from behind the seal on the metal plate attached to the door so I ran a small amount of sealant around the bottom half and with fingers crossed its worked.

Nice one, but keep an eye on it as you dont want the water to build up in the door, as you have blocked its exit.
Maybe replacing the waterproof door mebrain at a later date is worth doing and is an easy job.:biglaugh:

Surley the water should'nt weep between the metal panel and the door frame??? Once it gets past that it's into the car.
The metal panel has a rubber seal running all the way around and I'v just re-sealed it with sealant. The door still has it's drain holes along the bottom.

Yeah you should be fine, I thought you sealed the bottom of the door card to the metal of the door.
