00 passat - faults after battery change

I have just had a new battery put on. Now the radio wont work, the time clock and the trip keep resetting to zero when ignition turned off and the door beeper to warn that lights are on doesn't work. Any suggestions please :1zhelp:

Turn everything off, disconnebt the battery for 10 minutes and make a quick clen reconnect and see if it clears the problem. Does the radio need a security code. ? Regards Peter

I noticed that the radio didnt work before (the battery was completely dead) when we jump started it. then put a new battery on. checked all the fuses, could it be something like a relay?
