Whenever I use the front windscreen wiper wash, I get a low pressure spray onto the rear window too. Although not the most serious problem in the world, its a bit of a pain as I then have to clear the rear window too. Having not yet delved into the system, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on possibilities.

Sounds like the pump is faulty. It's a single pump that feeds water to both screens and sometimes the valve on the pump leaks and causes that to happen.
