If you do a search for removing the radio, there's a few articles on it.
The gist is - pop out the surround, disconnect the airbag light, unscrew the radio, slide it out.
Do NOT put on the ignition with the airbag warning disconnected otherwise you will have to get the dealer to reset the warning that you WILL get.
And I don't think the RCD500 has an aux in unless it was spec'd with one - which will be in the centre console (I think). You'll need an auxiliary adaptor....

Yep..the Aux In is a 3.5mm Jack Plug type.....

From his message, I think he's after an AUX OUTPUT, not an input...
I don't believe there is one, so what I did was buy a Speaker-to-RCA Phono (Line) converter that just takes a feed from the speaker outputs... but does require hacking into the cables somewhere. One i got wasn't powered, so needed only speaker cables, and was only £15.00.
I'm sure there's cheaper on ebay.
thanks guys for help but plz if any one can show me with pictures also i wanna ask if any one already added a carkit to his passat plz tell me abwt it . i like the parrot products but i dont know what to do.... thanks alot for keeping on.

You'll either need an adaptor kit for the Parrot to plug in the back of the stereo - Alternatively an ICE specialist will be able to wire it in directly. It cost me £70 to fit my Parrot kit, money well spent as it's a professional job.
The adaptor would have cost me £25 and the money I spent to fit it, although expensive, was worth it.
However, an iPod adaptor is easy to do yourself - note that it is usually in lieu of a CD changer....
The Parrot website will give you installation diagrams for car models - I got and downloaded mine from there and it was well worth doing so that way I understood what was happening...
plz anyone tell me what i need exactly to connect a parrot carkit to my passat 2007 with rcd 300 audio in-dash changer

This link tells you what adapter you need - http://www.parrot.com/documents/en/support/schemasdinstallation/pdf/wiring_vw_ac000018aa_1.pdf
Saying that, I thought the RCD500 was the one with the in dash changer.... I think it's the same kit anyway.
Me, I don't have this kit as I had it plumbed in by an audio specialist and they hard-wired it for me :)
