Brakes replaced-how to reset service light?

Hi, replaced the well-metal to metal- brake pads on my wifes 200 passat, the brakes are worn out light is still lit on the computer, how do i clear it please?

Think its the same as service reset,will try later

Not the same as a service reset.

Have you connected the sensor back to the car that was on the pads ?

If you have it should remove the light from the dash, if not, you may have not connected it properly.

yep all connected,was a good fit though. will try again.

Might just me ma bit of muck in the connector, give it a good "blow" or a spray of body spray and reconnect.

also check the brake fluid level

you can try to dissconnect the battery cables for 2-5 minutes. Worked for me

The harness on the left front is prone to fracturing internally.
