Hi there, I have seen L.E.D.s on ebay too. They are also not to my taste. IMO the lexus look " Silver" stands out too much on the B5 model.
I would be interested to see if any companys make a tastefull LED rear cluster for the B5 too. As KK has said, the newer LED stock rear clusters look excellent, Something like that for the B5 would be spot on :D

agreed, iv got the clear lexus rear lights on mine, and they are going to be changed ASAP! who ever thought of putting them on!
i was thinking of going stock, but had a thought - as mines a navy blue colour car - how would the dark/smoked rear clusters look ?
hmmm

I guess smoked / dark type lenses could look good, My Audi is also a metallic blue.
Would be good if there were stock look leds available though :D

hi guys
i dont like he rear clusters which imitate the ones that look like lexus, especially as my car is dark coloured. The chrome will look out of place, especially as my front headlights have a black background. Im actually looking for S4 (red and white) stock type LEDs. Ive seen one on eBay but it just doesnt look right as its full of chrome ... may need sunglasses to look at them :biglaugh:
Ive actually seen 2 A4s online and one on the road which has the type what im looking for but u cant exactly flash them and ask. can i ???
guess i will have to keep on looking

I have just found a site that has LED rear Lights for the B5 and they actually look okay. Not sure if i can mention the site due to advertising reasons. If you type in "Audi B5 LED Rear Lights" into google images you will see them.

just done a search as you mentioned and that is one of the ones i do like. Reasonably priced too. Im very tempted, just a shame they dont have a picture with those lights on a car.
However the lights do look lke S4 lights so that can only be good news

You need to upload the photo to some other site and then give the link to it, alternatively, just post the link to the website that is selling the taillights, and give the name of the ones your on about. Looking forward to seeing them as I am thinking of replacing mine too.

Yeah I thought they looked better than most LED set-ups, still not 100% on the silver circles in the middle but they do look good :D

i agree, they do look the business. i think i have seen them on a car at night, the LEDs light up at the top and the brake i believe is still lit from the bottom.
not sure about the chrome one tho ...

I bought a set of rear led lights off e bay, the box said without resistors so the bulb warning lights come on the dash display, I tryed fitting some resistors I also got of e bay and they didn't turn off the warning lights so I've giving up for now.

yeah I would imagine those computer probs would get annoying!
I havent yet seen a car with the fruity LEDS yet :D
If I could find a set that didnt have any silver / tinfoil effect I would be happy :D
