I have a4 b5 lulj 98 reg, central locking unit 8lo862257g and ultra sonic monitor installed, 2 button fob.
Problem is when i lock door alarm isnt activating(central lock is working, one door loocks others locks) and i cant program fob to open doors aswell.
I scanned CL unit and US unit for dtc and it found nothing all works fine.
As well i did output test on CL module : one beep, Ultrasonic monitor was flashing, alarm was beeping, warning lights flashing.
I have soft coding for CL module 1332 tryed others codes and didnt get positive results.
Any suggestions? LL be very apprteciated its wrecking my head for last few weeks

No, i didnt have any dtc in vag com and wv tool.
Do you have a Concert or Symphony radio, and is your locking pump the original part?

check batt in the fob that sounds to me
The alarm should also activate when you manually lock the car.
Do you mean that your stereo is 'aftermarket', or is it a 'Delta CC', a 'Symphony' or a 'Concert'.
Try these central locking numbers, and see if one of them makes everything work:
12232 (Delta)
or
16200 (Concert/Symphony)
Alternatively if you have recently had your stereo out, the 'alarm' wire in the radio loom may no longer be grounded on the back of the radio?

When i lock it manually alarm is not activating.
stereo is alpine
You have good point here:
Alternatively if you have recently had your stereo out, the 'alarm' wire in the radio loom may no longer be grounded on the back of the radio?[/quote]
Could You Please explain what wire is responsible for that and what i have to do (seems like i have few loose connectors and wires there)
Thanks

Ini, tryed these nubers tonight 12232 (Delta) 16200 (Concert/Symphony) same story put it back original 13130(sorry at the start i said 1332).
I gues my cl module has some electronics problem.
What only confusing me when i do output test 1386 1392 1390 1391(alarm sound, one beep sound, warning lights and ultrasonic sensors)seems working.
Thanks
Are your interior lights, reading lights and makeup/sun-visor lights working, as it could be a fuse? (position 14?)
Is your central locking pump waterlogged?
You can test with vagcom to see if your car can 'see' a remote:
In vag-com, 'central locking' (or central convenience), measuring block 3, there will be a change to the fourth reading '0000' when any compatible Audi remote is pressed near the car.

Ini i checked everything and no luck.
I think it is some electrical problems in my CL module.
I have decided to buy used one.
Thanks

Just to drag up an oldish thread.
Ini, you mentioned an alarm wire at the back of the radio. Would my 'N' (believed to be '95) reg also have this wire? The car came to me without a radio, I fitted one myself and the cl/alarm used to work. Can't recall this being connected but I had a reason to remove the radio and now my alarm/cl no longer works.
Could anyone tell me what I should look for wiring wise?
If it originally had a 'Delta CC', the alarm wire will likely be separate (not in a multi-connector) and earth at the centre/rear of the radio.
Not sure on the wire colour, but it may be grey?
