Been offered an A4 Avant 1.8T 96k 1997, has black leather is tax and tested with number plate A4 ***
The car has no issues, but could do with a tidy.
The car can be lifter for £1k.
Should i buy it and take a chance?

Ask if it has been putting the oil pressure light on, they are notorious for this and a good used engine for one can fetch nearly that much, very suspicious. Take it for a long test drive.

I thought even for the leather and plate it would be worth buying
