Hello,I have a 2003 Audi Quatro that the windsheild wiper motor speed has slowed down to slow on all settings.Even stops completley for about 10 minutes,then starts again. Any idea's would be appreciated,Thanks:1zhelp:

Hi This is a common problem,you need to dismantle the wiper frame,it is the the spindels which the wiper arms are attached to that have seized in their bushes.A small clip holds the spindel in place,remove it, and with a bit of heat remove the spindel from the bushing,clean the bushing and spindel with fine sand paper and grease well with a waterproof grease

I have the same problem with my wipers and my other half is working on them at the minute only thing he cant get the black plastic off from under the windscreen and he has cracked the windscreen. The passenger wiper seems to be free enough and the problem seems to be the drivers one if you can help me out guys that would be great the car is A4 2004 1.9 TDIHeadin away on friday to Isle of Man TT and the car is going too so need wipers sorted(we all know you cant depend on UK weather)ThanksAdina
