Hi to you all, i am new to this forum and need some help. I bought my car about a year ago and that onboard MPG that i was doing was 32mpg but since about 4 months ago i realised that it has been reducing week by week that was after servicing the car.
As at yester day it had come down to 22.6mpg and i am abit worried cos i can also feel the effect in my pocket as well.Dose any one have a solution to this problem. Please i need help.:1zhelp:

When you say 'onboard MPG' what exactly do you mean ?

with my 98se there is a display just under where is tells you your external temperature and it tells you how many mpg the car is doing at the moment it is reading 27.6 mpg.i was trying to upload a picture but the size is too big. it is just under where your climate control dispaly shows.

Hi i am also new to Audi i have a 1997 model, did you realise that there are two mpg display. One shows (in theory) actual mpg and one shows average mpg. the handbook should explain how they work. however in my car both displays seem inaccurate and my mpg seems ok. but then anything would compared to my last vehicle a Discovery.
