i have a passat 110 tdi 1997 model the original alternator lasted 149000 miles but was replaced with a new original one which lasted about 1000 miles the next one did not make it out of the garage and this one lasted about 1000 miles they have all been genuine ones and every time the front bearing packs up they have all been under warranty but it is driving me mad can anybody shed some light on my problem
