A longer bar, I would also suggest tightening it up, but if the sump is alloy don't do this as it will strip the thread.
Get the car on some ramps to give you a little bit of room ;)

i had trouble like this on my old polo. my dad had to get it up on a ramp to give it a proper tug with a fat rachet haha
I took it to tyre sales they got it up on the ramp gave it a few good hard tugs (the ramps n car was rockin) then said carnt do it try goin to are nxt depo and suck it out wiv a sucker through the dipstick. I have heard theese are a great peice of kit but carnt get me hands on one im gonna take it to kwik fit and get them to get it off wiv the air gun. As it has a hammer inpact to.

IMO get the sump plug out, I don't like oil suckers is not going to drain the oil as well;)

How much is a new sump, gaskets and plug from GSF? That'd be my solution to the problem, or stop being a girl, warm up the plug with a gas axe or decent blow lamp and get the 5foot 1/2 inch drive bar round it
