Pollen filter water leak

I am having problems with a water leak, there is a slight drip in the passenger footwell. i had a look for the pollen filter but i couldn't find it, under the plastic panel i found a black square piece with a plastic mesh over it. below this i can see the blower. Is there meant to be a filter here??
When i look under the passenger footwell after rain i can see a few drips of water coming from around the blower casing.
Any advice anyone. thanks

yeah its in the top RHS just below the windscreen.
remove the plastic mesh panel & trim, torx screwdriver may be required!
check that the drip tray above has no leafs etc blocking the drain away, use a posi screwdriver to clear the hole so the water can dispurse, if there is blockage it will drench the pollen filter & leak through the passengers footwell!

Another thing to check is that the master drainage hole is clear, if its not,it will gradually fill with water & soak the filter causing yet again a wet footwell, To clear this hole un-bolt the battery, directly underneath there is the rubber waste pipe that often gets blocked this time of year!
