A2 Audi - Engine Management Light - Errro 10074

HI

I have an Audi A2 1.4 TDI 2003.

The engine management light comes on after a while when driving it, It's sluggish and judders.
We hooked it up with the diagnostic tool and got the following error

Error - 10074
p1666 value for pump/injection cylinder n24oe

Any ideas on what has gone and estimate costs ?

Hi

I too have had the Engine management light appear on the dash. We had the diaognotics done and the error message in my intance was "Manifold Changeover Valve".

Does anyone have any clues as to what this is? or how much it costs?

The car itself is driving perfectly normal with no tell tale signs of trouble. I was told by a local garage that sometimes this can come on if the car has mis-fired slightly on starting, they re-set it and it stayed off for a couple of days, but then came back on.

Any help would be appreicated!!

OK I got it all sorted here.

2 Problem that we were

1. Injector Rail Wire needed to be replaced. Part cost £47.42 and £35 labor to fit it.

2. Had no turbo so replaced the N75J valve £32.15 and the Turbo boost value £25.36 - Labor £35

Sorted !

Runs perfect now. From a private garage and not from Audi dealer.

had same problem with engine management light been constantly on, and frequently the abs light would come on. brake light switch is what ive been told.
