Polo 1.0l buying advise Cambelt ?

Hi All,

Going to see a Polo 1.0L 1995 tomorrow as a 1st car for our eldest.

:confused: Anyone got any advice ? what to look out for e.g common faults, areas to look for rust etc..

Is this engine chain or belt ? if belt whats the change intervals as the polo's got 132,000 under its belt.
