Interiar door Light switch VW Passat 02

Hi all This is my 1st posting so i hope im doing right! :1zhelp: Firstly Merry Christmas to you all,I have a 130 tdi se passat 2002,i have a problem with the light on the bottom of the drivers door,doesnt come on (ive checked the bulb)!! also the warning buzzer to alert the driver that the cars lights are still on also doesnt work :( Im thinking it must be the switch? But can i fine it ! NO :)

The switch is built into the lock module.

Do a search on here for info.

Sometimes it can be cleaned but most times as you have the door in pieces anyway it is better to renew the lock assembly.
