Car has a jerky feeling sometimes when driving. Feels like a delayed reaction of the gas pedal like it has a dead spot when takeing off, then all od a suden, wham it takes off. Has new air filter, new plugs, new oil and just had timing belt complete service done with the cam/crank seals. No codes when they checked.Feels like the engine sometimes has a problem working with the transmission
Has anyone else experienced this problem??

Hi Gcan,
I've got a 2000 model 2.7 biturbo, and I get what I would describe as a transmission knock quite frequently - not sure if this is what you are talking about?? It is most noticeable between 2000 and 3000 rpm, and if I am not very smooth on the clutch, or if I hit the accelerator hard from that sort of engine speed. To my mind, it feels like wear somewhere in the drive / transmission. Over 10 000 miles of driving this car, I've simply learnt to drive in a way that (almost) eliminates the issue. Does annoy me though. I've asked a couple of people who are experts, and they don't feel it is anything significant - If it is wear, it will slowly get worse....

I have had a similar problem. Twice now my RS6 has failed to travel in forward gears with any speed. Power is only available in reverse. 1st time dealer claimed "water pump" failed. Two months later, problem returned. I had read in some Audi forum about a year ago that this problem was due to a faulty valve and was a $90 repair but most dealers were unaware of the fix. I'm searching for that post now.
