Hello, My name is tony, i live in the south west and i drive a 52 plate golf gt tdi 130.

Im thinking of tuning her up soon so I will be asking questions soon. any ideas where to start would be appricate. thanx

Remap!

Your 130 will soon be pumping out 180 ponies, and 300 lb/ft torque with no mechanical modifications whatsoever.....

wow! thanx, I have been toying with the idea but i have reservations because i have heard that it causes premature clutch failure/slippage, and i dont fancy messing around installing a performance clutch as the mrs will be stalling all the time or burning out tyres quicker than i can replace them.

Theres a "how many mile has your clutch thread" going about....

Have a read on there.. ;)

Obviously, more power will have an adverse affect on the clutch, but how severe that is depends on your driving style.

I've done approx 15K miles since i've had mine remapped, and all is still fine.
