Hiya guys,
Cars on its last legs (Golf TDi Mk3). Was looking at Octavias and Fabias but they're not fitting in my buget so back to the trusty Golf TDi. Looking for a Golf TDi Mk4 for between 5/6g, anyone know of any good places to check out in the Midlands I'd be very greatfull!
Off to look around now..
P.s. Blue/Black and pref with under 60/70k on the clock!

Cheers, is there any easy way to tell the difference between models? Obvious with the GT TDi, but not sure about the others.
Need to get off my arrse and look really, internet has its limitations.

I always get stuck on this one, something to Do with the TDI badge being partly red.
I'm sure someone will be along to help out.
Cheers, Mark

Many will tell you not to trust the red lettering on the vehicles. Somewhere on her there is a guide to the engine codes so you know exactly what you are looking at. an engines power is measured in kw. so 100 bhp = ?kw 115 bhp = ?kw etc etc.
Either way, the choice is yours. happy hunting.

to convert KW into BHP multiply by 1.35
Eg... 74kw engine (from data sticker in boot under carpet, or engine plate) is as follows...
74 x 1.35 = 99.9, hence 100bhp.
so if you want a 130, the sticker should say (130/1.35=) 96Kw.
Hope that helps
Nick
