I know failing flywheels comes in many shapes and forms but can the following clues lead to a faulty flywheel?
- Car turned on and gear lever in P or N - No vibration or rattle
- Car in Drive and foot off the brakes (but not on accelerator) and it slowly starts moving - rattle noise
- Accelerate moderately and the rpm sticks around 1600-1800 - vibrations and rattle.
- To get rid of the above situation, I have to press the gas hard. Once it goes above 2200 rpm everything is good. See video
- Issue only happens at lower RPMs
- Did not notice any clutch slippage
- Gears also shift fine. Meaning up shift and down shifts happens as needed
- Sometimes after starting from a complete stop and going uphill, I have noticed the car jerking
- No gearbox or engine fault code present
