View Full Version : Question Audi A3 8V 2015 Daytime Running Lights

Hi all!
Struggling to find a solution. Drivers side DRL has stopped working. Was intermittent for a while but has completely stopped. Every garage I’ve been to has said that I can’t replace the LED and it’s a complete headlight replacement. Seems crazy that the whole unit needs replacing just because the Daytime runner has stopped. Any help is massively appreciated!

Yes, new headlight 8V0 941 044 A and £709.20 retail inc.

BEFORE going that far, we would drop the bumper cover and swap the headlights over to made sure it is not a BCM, controller (a new light does not come with one, part number and 8V0 941 044 A £250.80) or wiring issue. Plugging in a new unit for it not to work would be kind of annoying.

It is available from Hella under number 1LL 010 740-601 for a lot less
