I'm interested in OE/OEM brands for the timing belt, water pump, con rod bearings, brake pads, brake rotors, calipers, injectors, oil pump and other parts that typically goes bad on this car.

Timing belt kit 038 198 119 J These can be a mixture of a Dayco belt, Litens tensioner, INA idler and kits by Conti, Bosch, Dayco, Gates, INA, SKF and more and most top quality so it is very difficult with belts to say one brand is the best as they all mix and match. We only use genuine VW kits.

Water pump 045 121 011 H These tend to be made by VW themselves and there are literally hundreds, the trade system TecDoc gave me 224 matches for that number, again we only use genuine VW.
