High Beam assist for C7.5 Allroad Facelift with MATRIX

Hi,

I am looking for the steps on how to change the high beam activation speed threshold on my facelift with Matrix. While working out with OBD11 team they told me my facelift doesn't have the control unit 20, does anybody know how can I modify this on my car? I have a VAG COM and OBD11 so any of them will do.

Enter Module 20 (High Beam Assistance)
Adaptation, select Channel 2 and set the new value.
Default value should be 70, decrease it a little to reduce the activation speed threshold

Him thanks for your reply but unfortunately on the facelift with Matrix at least I do not have the module 20.. that s my issue :( the rest of the headlight settings seem to be on module 55 but nothing regarding the high beam assist. any clue?

You should try to activate address 20 in Gateway (19) via Vag-Com

That's actually my first lead on this topic:)) how to do that ? i ll soon visit my coder friend for some engine updates and i can ask but there also something new i got, another friend of mine has one more camera under the mirror inside, not sticked to the windshield and he has the module 20. please just elaborate a bit what does activating it means and if it would be possible without that extra camera. also, can i do it now with my obd 11?

You cannot have adaptive/matrix headlights without a camera.
So, what do you have? Post a pic.

My 2016 A6 Facelift had Matrix headlights, and AutoScan in VCDS didn't detect a Module 20 on mine. If it helps, this is a scan of the car from while I had it.

I do have the camera above the rain sensor but not the one below the mirror as in this attached pic. However, I for sure do have matrix as I have seen them work, not only auto on off high beam. so yea, weird but not sure what s going on..39405
