Indicator & Puddle light not working

Recently had an issue where my drivers side indicator & puddle light have stopped working. Bought new units anyway for the indicators as they were grubby (same as previous replacements from VW). passenger worked fine but the drivers didn't and that's when I noticed the puddle light too. All door loom wiring has been checked and is good, however the pins from the door control module aren't sending any power (Door control module has been replaced once and bought another to make sure it wasn't a module issue). All other functions work fine like the heated mirrors, power fold & auto dim. window controls also work fine.

Don't have access to VCDS :/ Hopefully will soon.

just looking for some pointers on where to check next really.

But with an LED bulb pushed into the puddle light bulb holder it will flicker and then dimly glow which is confusing me

I would suspect it is a module coding error
