Hi all,
New to Audi and the forum after buying a 2016 Q7 4M. Coming from 8 years of LR (Disco 3 and 4) so had a fair bit of hands on over the that time (buy an Land Rover, become a mechanic) so I know how important and useful these forums can be. Hopefully I won't have much need if Audi reliability is better than LR. Although in the first 3 months of ownership the Q7 has already needed an O2 sensor, rear air con controls, rear power points, and a rear nearside spring replaced (yep, not EAS). Thankfully all at the expense of the dealers! Just some squealing/sticking brakes to sort out (which I gather is quite common). Hoping they just need some copper grease or paste on them and a clip/spring service kit already ordered. Otherwise, lovely, comfortable car with lots of bells and whistles and still packs some punch when needed. Looking forward to enjoying the car.
