Hi
Just had the airbag light come on my sons car..
Only work carried out prior to seeing it was bleeding the brakes.
IÂ’ve looked for codes using an Autel 419. NO CODES.
Is my 419 up to looking for codes on an Audi?
If not what do I need?
Trying to sell the car , so I could do with some cheap ideas?
IÂ’m in Newport S Wales if anyone can help please?
Cheers

Have you tried just clearing the codes?

Hi Crasher
Yes I have. No difference
I’m suspicious that my Autel 419 is not suitable.

A full CAN broadcast clear should clear everything, even what it can't read so possibly a "hard code" as we call them.

How do I do it?

I have no idea with your code reader, I use VCDS mainly and ODIS when I have to.

Are you talking about software downloads and interface cables?

VCDS is both, you buy the cable and download the software

Hopefully all sorted
Borrowed an Autel AL619
Reset airbags lights off
Also showed up an ABS fault. Also cleared
Hope that’s the end of the A3 saga
Start of Kuga work now. Broke a front spring this morning

LOL Yes it does. It has a mind of its own where it parks though 😃

For an 8P A3 to have one that isn’t stuck at half mast or dangling over the tailgate is rare so just working is a bonus!

Yes the Avant A4/A6 were a joke as well.
