A6 avant s line 2.0tdi 2011 air intake upgrade?

Hi all,

New here and just about to pick up the car in a couple weeks when I land back in the UK. I was wondering what options there are for improving air flow, is it worth doing?

@ joe. My wifes 2.0 tdi has a good size cylindrical filter, which seems to have more than enough surface area.

Standard filters flow way more air than the engine needs, as they have plenty of built in redundancy for when they start to get blocked.
I hoover out leaves and flies etc at the oil change services, and no vehicle I have owned has had a noticeable power improvement when changing the filter.

Totally agree with you, I do the same, but roughly 2.5 times the power over standard. Surely that is either on the edge of flow limits, if not creating a restriction.
