Airbag light permanently on.

Hi. Ages ago I had a little electrical job done since which time the airbag light has stayed on. (kind mot man has turned a blind eye.))
Are most Auto repair guys able to clear this or have I got to fork out at an Audi main dealer. Thanks.
I assume the connection is under the drivers seat. It seems connected OK. A4 B6 Avant.

I would seek the advice of an Independent Audi Specialist for this issue. Could be something simple as you state it happened after some electrical repair. Do you have VCSD to scan for codes? That would be a solid starting point.

Possibly the person who did the work turned the ignition on with an air bag system component, such as the glove box switch disconnected. Any code reader should able to show what it is and clear the code.

It's sometimes worth investing in Carista (or similar) which can clear some codes.
