Hi all. Is this the correct place to discuss VAS5954a ODIS.
I have had VAS5054 VASPC for the last 10 years and had reasonable success. I have now purchased the ODIS off line system still using my 5054a head unit.
The root of my question is there any training available on line for using odis. I own a Continental gt and found vaspc invaluable. Having started to use odis I dont find it as easy or intuitive as the vaspc.
I have email Glasgow Bentley in the past a screen shot using vaspc of a fault I had whilst driving through France. I dont feel that confident using odis.
Any advice or information greatly appreciated.

ODIS is VERY hard work and takes a lot of time to get familiar with, I have been using it for five years and I am still learning as getting help with it is almost impossible. Have you attained GEKO security clearance with a code key for DMS BB Login?

Hi, thanks for the reply. No, im just a privateer and dont run a business working on modern cars. I have quite a collection so have Durametric version 6 for my P cars. Vaspc/Odis for The Bentley and Emtron for my Cosworth. For my collection of 1962 to 68 vw campers its good old manual fault finding.
So im not the keen setting up accounts at great expense with oem garages.

I recommend VCDS for the Bentley, and any other modern VAG, and there is a great support forum.

If you dont mind me asking, is there a reason for that?

It is a much easier to use system for general work.

Thank you. Tbh Im going to have to bite the bullet and spend some real time connected my car and see how deep into the systems as I can. Its a shame odis doesn't have a demmo/ training mode in built so you can practice on generic modules without actually connecting to a car.
