Hi All
Usually drive the car in comfort mode but decided to try this full tank on efficiency mode.
Do you actually get any benefit?
Its not a nice ride in my opinion
i'm going back to comfort, that's for sure

The entire concept, ALL of it, is green wash bull ****. It is designed to keep the superglue ***** quiet but it doesn’t work as much as the concept.

Don't know a whole lot about this, just from my own experience. I think engine continues to work within its own "closed" loop regardless of these settings, so fueling, consumption, torque perhaps do not change. Feel free to correct me though.
What changes though is throttle response, steering assist, AC performance, gearbox shifting patterns in case of automatic, suspension?
So in economy mode you will get a very sluggish throttle, heavy steering, slower AC, lower or less gearbox shifting that should result in improved mileage, but overtaking another car can be actually dangerous because throttle is not responding, gearbox is not downshifting and what not.
Problem for me at least, is that I need various scenarios while I drive and cannot be bothered accessing menus for every situation. So basically I ended up being either in auto or individual...
I only ever need 1 button - Sport mode and normal :) So yeah, Audi implementation of this is rather gimmicky.

like the freewheel in economy - improves fuel consumption but the cost is it is sluggish
