A6 avant questions

Hi all. when i got my A6 avant last week it came with an extra boot cover. Is that what it is? has different ends on it to my standard one?

Also ive changed most of the tricks using VCDS but the ones below dont work. Not sure if its me or my car doesn't support the changes. Any reasons why. I have a 2015 A6 Avant Black Edition ultra if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any replies

Chirp the alarm siren briefly when the alarm activates (ie all doors are closed and the car is locked)

Photos would help. Your Avant will come with a boot cover, which has release levers on the top edge and a partition blind who has push button releases on each side. Maybe the second one is that and the PO hadn't put it back in place?

ah ok so i just decide which one to put in at any given time...that makes sense

No you can have both in place at the same time. The partition blind goes in front of the boot cover, but you need the seat backs folded forward to install it. Once fitted the seat backs can be put upright again. See photos
