Anyone had issues with their Touran (1T3) 3rd row seat backrest/lock mech?

Hi all newbie here, haven't had my 2012 Touran long.

Both sides of my 3rd row backrest lock release trim were broken when i bought the car. Upon trying to release one side to lay it back down, the entire mech sprung off and snapped. Seems the plastic is very brittle.

Anyone replaced the entire mech? If so, any part numbers for this or advice/how-to?

Hi,
They look very similar to my '04 t1. From memory each seat is only held in with four bolts, from a time, parts availability, and hassle perspective it may be more cost effective to source a pair of second hand seats.
