2010 Audi A4 various lights not working

Hello my 2010 Audi A4 vanity lights, reading lights, dome lights, glove box and footwell lights are not working. The thing is when I unlock the door and open it the reading lights come on for about 3 seconds then turn off. Also the red illumination on the buttons work so that means that it isn’t the module ? I have checked all fuses and they are all good. I need help

No, I’m in California it rarely rains out here

Yes I have been to SF and LA but Tucson was unbearable. The symptoms do point to a problem with the central convenience unit in the boot so I would start with a full vehicle scan, save and clear then run the car for a few days with the problem relating and then a new scan so the results can be compared.
