Just about to change the ATF oil on a DL382 OCK gear box the one with the black plastic sump and plastic fill/drain plugs.
I understand that I have to disable the pump and empty the pressure accumulator using VCDS before draining the oil but I have not seen any mention of reinstating the pump to fill the accumulator.
Have any of you on this amazing forum completed this job using VCDS and maybe have a written procedure?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Geoff.

0CK, yes there is a top up ATF function. The book of words states very harshly
"Caution
Risk of damage to gearbox if ATF and gear oil (MTF) mix via shared breather opening.
Do not fill with more than 3.5 ltr. of ATF"

Hi Crasher thanks for your reply.
I am aware of the book of words and fully understand the importance of over and underfilling these gearboxes and will abide by the book explicitly.
All I wanted to know is if anyone on here had completed this job using VCDS and could point me in the right direction or if they had written down the procedure as a help to others.
Thanks again Geoff.

It should be in the Basic Settings menu.

Hello,
Can anyone recommend experienced DSG gearbox service/ repair garages in london or anywhere near london ?
I have Audi A4 2016 quattro with DL382 7 speed gearbox, OCL spec
recently I have let my local garage carry out gearbox oil change and they filled it with 6L of gearbox oil, made a mess and now I have 5th gear whining...
I don't want to take it to audi as they will going to rip me off blind, so Im trying to find someone reasonable, but when I phone them and explain what gearbox I have it seems engineers are not familiar with this type of gearbox ie dl382 OCL, even when they call themselves specialists as 3 garages told me filters are on the outside of my gearbox and I know they are not.. they are on the mech unit ...
would appreciate anyone's help
cheers
FRANK
