Audi A6 2016 3.0 TDI Quattro Black Edition - emissions warning light

Anyone else had this come up on the dash and is there anyway i can fix it myself or does it need to into the garage to be checked? I just got it back today from the garage as they have refurbished the wheels so something smells fishy to me! Any idea how much it would be to fix if the garage is needed? Thanks in advance!

To answer your question you would need to know what has triggered it. You need to get a scan done to see what the error code is

Try taking it for a run first, motorway, revs over 2k for at least twenty minutes. That might clear it.

Took into Audi and they confirmed it was the emissions but needed the car in for more time to diag as you mentioned. Then on the way home the AD Blue system warning light came on as well! Anyway it was booked in this week to fix and just got the car back tonight and all fixed. Turns out it was the AD Blue delivery unit (pump) at fault. ;)
