Hi fellow Coupe owners.

I am trying to find out if the bushes and ball joint used on the front axle are compatible with the rear axle.
There are plenty of front control arms available but the rear arms are nowhere to be found, but I have found two rear arms on eBay but need to find the bushes and ball joint.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Presumably a type 81 or 85 Coupe quattro?

It is a 1992/3 year car.

VIN-WAUZZZ8BZPA001873

The official Audi desription. AUDI COUPE 2.8QUC2128GKAT5G

Sales type: 8B30Y5

There was a ton of documentation with the car when I bought it in 2009.

As to the rear control arm after looking through the net for two days I am inclined to believe that the ball joints are available, (wishfull thinking).

Thanks.

Hi Crasher,

Many thanks for the info. I take it that those are VAG part numbers?
So you have my cars twin! I take it that it is a RHD vehicle.
I will post some pix once I figure out how to!
Thanks.

Yes they are the OE numbers, all seem to be available from Audi Tradition. Not my car, a customers, I haven't seen it yet (it will be right hand drive) but I have just given him back his 87 type 85 GT (2.3 conversion) and his 86 type 85 coupe quattro is in the paint shop at the moment and a custom built 2.5 engine awaits.

Febi are excellent, Meyle HD range the best and TRW/Lemforder OE suppliers; then there are dozens of cheap nastry Chinese versions.

Which are you using mostly mate? Iv been reading most of the large suppliers are having their manufacturing done in Asia now too so was a little worried on quality control

If seen a German company Kraft automotive doing arm kits too for cheap tbh , at the min I’m a little unsure which to get
