A fan continues to run, after engine is turned off, until battery is flat on my Audi RS4, 2006
VCDS shows no faults.
Looking at other postings, I looked for relay 219 thinking that removing this would stop the fan. But my RS4S had no relay 219. Instead it has only the following relays which I checked as follows:
Relays under the ECU unit in the engine bay by the bulkhead
I removed relays numbered 373, 614 and 614. The fan continued to run despite their removal. I did not remove the smaller relays numbered 395 and 395.
Relays inside the cabin, behind the panel, in front of the foot pedals
I removed relays numbered 642, 645, 645, 373, 373 and 395. The fan continued to run despite their removal. I did not remove the bright green edged items – which may be thermal trippers - slotted in below the relays.
Any tips, on what I might try next, would be appreciated.
