TDI Turbo Muffler (DIY gut out)

So after searching for ages to find mods i liked the sound of (literally) i found something called a Turbo muffler / Damper / Silencer delete.. There are 2 companies making this as a bolt on Neuspeed and Darkside.

It seems to be a purely audible upgrade for some extra turbo 'woosh', not too many online have claimed it gains them more than placebo torque/horsepower.
It seems to go well with an air filter/intake upgrade which i'm not really interested in on the TDI considering increased hot air from cone filters and the already adequate flow of the OEM panel.

There is a DIY version of this mod which is a gut out of the OEM part so i have ordered a 2nd hand OEM pipe to do this, (i'll post my experience when i get it done)

Wondering if any of the other MK7 tdi guys have done this?

Hi Liam I did the gut out and noticed a little quicker low end, maybe some louder intake noise also. Very easy job to do.
