Electric seats stop working

Hope someone can help me put ?

I have fitted electric seats to the A6, All was working fine till, the drivers seat stopped working......
I don't think that the CP has kick in because I have not wired them to the canbus yet.
I have checked all the fuses, even the thermal one......all good :fing02:

I managed to get the plug out of the control unit ( J136) and have 12v at the plug.......

Is there a way to check this unit out ( J136) or is it a new one ( or 2ndhand) ?

A unit with Cp on it will still work. If you have power there but is it enough power? You need to load it and check it still provides power or does the thermal fuse kick in? Check your ground at the connector too. A 2nd hand module will work fine

I pick up a 2nd hand unit and fitted it the other day......all is working fine now.:fing02:.

I may take the old unit apart and see whats what.....or just throw it away lol.
